(I want the winter to end soon)

Busy, busy with school! (As usual) At the moment just trying to catch up with blogs and stuff!
I hope you are all doing well!

1/6/10

A very disoriented post, small reviews, EOTD, etc

Happy new 2010 everyone!
Did you have a great new years? I am late as always but better late than never.
I spent my new years with my family and close relatives. Had a reallt nice time. I can't wait to see what in store for 2010, so lets make this another great year!

Now I shall start on the makeup related stuff. Honestly, I haven't been hauling alot since I managed to get sick and now I have a cold but I have some products I should try and review and some to show you.

So this is my EOTD, I was trying out new products I got for the first time and sadly the green I used on the lid isn't showing up.

But gee, I love the new mascara I got. It's Isadoras Build Up Mascara Extra Volume. I never tried their mascaras but now I think I shall try them all out!

Stuffs used for the EOTD.
Isadora Eyeshadow Palette in Bohemian Rhapsody. (new)
Isadora Build Up Mascara Extra Volume(new)
Isadora Fine Liner Stylo
Nivea random eyeliner ( Sorry! Can't remember the name.)
Maxfactor Precision Cream Eyeshadow in Pearl Beige.

I shall wait a few days and see if I still love the mascara as much as I do now. Aswell the palette which actually was released for autumn.

But onto something I just need to rave about haha.

The Isadora (gee, I love this brand toomuch) 3-D Gitter Gloss!
Costs 110 SEK which is around 15 USD? I think. It's about 3.4 ml so I think it's a good deal. I never tried MACs Dazzleglass but I want almost to say that this is drugstore version of it. Nonsticky/tacky, super sparky, gives dimension to your lips. I love it! I can't wait to pair it with a nice lipstick.

What the site says:

Multi-dimensional brilliance on your lips!

3-D Glitter gloss is a high brilliance gloss overflowing with pearls and shine and wraps your lips in a multi-dimensional sparkling
finish. Semi-transparent, comfortable and non-sticky texture with a soft bouncy feeling upon application.
Brush applicator.

FRAGRANCE FREE & CLINICALLY TESTED
– for avoidance of allergic reactions.

Pros:
Nonsticky & nontacky.
Has a nice vanilla smell.
Sparkly but hasn't the "gritty" feeling other glitter glosses give sometimes.
Not super expensive (still not very cheap)

Cons:
Comes only in 3 shades.
I don't really get the nice bouncy feeling haha, it's feels abit thick.

So over all I would give it a clear 5 so far! ^_^ I am glad I found a somewhat dupe for dazzleglass since I can't buy it here.

The applicator is a small brush which is really nice. I have a love-hate relationship with doefoots.

Swatch on my not so very model worthy lips. The picture does not make the sparklyness justice. It's so super sparkly and pretty IRL T_T

Another Isadora product quick review. The Light Touch Concealer. Suppose to conceal and illuminate.

A small pen dispenser concealer which reminds me of the YSL hightlighter concealer one but nowhere as nice I can imagine.

The site says:Shadow eraser!

Light Touch Concealer brightens the complexion and corrects imperfections in one stroke!
It acts both as a concealer and highlighter. The perfect pick-me-up beauty tool which instantly reduces visible signs of fatigue.

Light and easy blendable texture with a long lasting coverage.
Soft focus effect minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.
UV filter protects against UV rays and external aggressions.
Extract of white tea acts as anti-oxidant.

Twist pen with a brush applicator. Twist the end of the pen until a drop of product appears in the tip of the brush.

What I think. It's a very light concealer so if you are looking for coverage like me this is a not your best try. I do like it since paired with a more covering under eye concealer it looks great since it illuminates and highlights. But still, the coverage is really sheer and sometimes I find it hard to get the product out of the brush.

Pros:
No smell whatsoever.
Does not sink into finelines (atleast not for me)
UV protecting.
Quick and easy to use and just throw in your bag.

Cons:
Sometimes hard to get the product out.
Really sheer coverage.
Easy to accidently blend "away"

I give it a 3.5 ^^

Lastly I am going to quick review the Neutrogena visibly clear blackhead eliminating daily scrub.

I don't remember what it cost but it comes in a normal tube which fills 150 ml.

It says it's going to help to remove and prevent blackheads.
It has really fine "microbeads" which is going to help and work as an exfoliator.

Honestly I haven't seen much change in my blackheads area (nose, chin, between eyes)
So I can't say it works. Go for a nose strip or a another scrub.
But it's nice as a daily exfoliator I must say. Very gentle.

Pros:
Very gentle so you can use it everyday.

Cons:
Does not do much for my blackheads.
Strong very chemical smell (does not really bother me)
Says to moist your face with water before using it but sometimes I just feel like the scrub is slipping around on the water on my face.

So overall it's a 2. Nice as a daily scrub but does not do anything for blackheads.

So that's it folks! I hope it was somewhat useful and there is more quickreviews on it's way.
I leave you with a picture of my new favorite studs!
